El Real Spaghetti with Spicy Bacon Shrimp in Garlic Sauce

Who says healthy can’t be delicious?

Ingredients:

  • 250 g. EL REAL HEALTHY SPAGHETTI
  • 1⁄4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1⁄4 cup crushed garlic
  • 1⁄4 tsp. sliced red pepper (2 siling labuyo)
  • 1 tsp. rock salt
  • 1⁄2 cup frozen mix vegetables (carrots, corn and peas)
  • 1⁄2 cup baby shrimps (frozen section of supermarket)
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped bacon
  • 2 tbsp. chopped spring onions for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Cook 250 g. EL REAL HEALTHY SPAGHETTI according to package directions. Drain under faucet water. When ready to serve, blanch in boiling water.

  2. In a 12-inch skillet, put oil, garlic and bacon. Cook until brown.

  3. Add remaining ingredients.

  4. Cook for 3 minutes.

  5. Turn off fire. Toss in hot spaghetti.

  6. Transfer to serving platter.
