Chocolate Brownies

Leaving this here for days when you deserve a treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ cups CONTINENTAL ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR 
  • 1 ½ cups butter
  • ¼ cups cocoa powder 
  • 6 pcs. eggs
  • 2 ¾ cups refined sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla

Procedure:

  1. Line a 9x 13x2 inch pan with wax paper.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

  3. Pour the melted butter into the mixing bowl, then sift-in cocoa powder. Mix well. Set aside to cool.

  4. Sift the CONTINENTAL ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR into a separate mixing bowl. Set aside.

  5. In another mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well using a wire whisk.

  6. Pour cocoa mixture to the egg mixture. Mix until well incorporated. Then add sifted CONTINENTAL ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR into the mixture. Mix again until a well-blended batter is prepared.

  7. Pour the batter into the wax paper lined 9x 13x2 inch baking pan. Spread evenly.

  8. Bake in an oven (preheated at 175°C) for 28 minutes or until desired texture is achieved.

  9. Allow to cool for at least 60 minutes before depanning and cutting.

Note: Garnish as desired with glaze, nuts and fruit.
