El Real Healthy Spaghetti with Bacon Asparagus Mayo

A little bit of bacon never hurt anyone.

Ingredients:

  • 250g EL REAL HEALTHY SPAGHETTI
  • 6 rashers (pieces) bacon - cut into one inch pieces
  • 125g (1⁄4 kilo) tiny asparagus spears. (Cut bottom ends, discard.
    Cut each asparagus into 
    2)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp yellow miso paste
  • 1⁄2 tsp coarsely ground peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp japanese vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1⁄4 tsp salt

Procedure:

  1. Cook EL REAL HEALTHY SPAGHETTI according to package directions. Drain under faucet water and submerge it in boiling water when ready to serve.

  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy and then set aside bacon.

  3. Add asparagus to the bacon oil and cook until done. Set aside for topping.

  4. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl then set aside.

  5. Submerge cooked spaghetti in boiling water. Drain and transfer to serving platters.

  6. Top with mayo mixture. Garnish with bacon and asparagus. Serves 4.
